Shayne's Perfect Day: Winner 2

It’s time to reveal the next winner of the Shayne’s perfect day competition! Congratulations to Jess123 who impressed us with her action packed plans:

The easiest thing to do would to go and see Manchester united play!!!!! BUT i am sure Shayne has done that numerous times. So as i am a sporty girl who likes a challenge and so i would take Shayne up to Buckmore Park onto the race track that the likes of Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton used in their go karting days (because i have noticed shayne likes his driving) and create a massive race. Then i would get Shayne with his friends and mine into the Lazer Zone and have a mini competition (It is less painful than paintballing but literally the same thing) It would be a proper laugh for all the hard work that he has been doing over the past few years. Later we can go and party with family and friends, have a drink and relax after our very adventurous day (perhaps have a sing song too!)! I would get our two families together as i know Shayne would appreciate time with his family and friends because he is very family orientated and also because I reckon I would get on well with faye LOL she seems genuinely nice and no I’m not sucking up! so anyway I reckon it could be a very competitive fun day between two families if it was ever possible and if affordable hehe!

Well done Jess – could you please pm admin with your full name and address so we can send you a signed picture from Shayne.

This competition is now closed, thanks for all your entries.

Blog: Sport Relief and my aching legs

Hi guys,

Bit of sad news today. As some of you know I was looking forward to taking part in the Manchester Mile run for Sport Relief. But unfortunately I've knackered my legs in training and have had to pull out. I'm gutted. Right now I'm waiting for a masseuse to come round and sort me out - I couldn't even get myself down the stairs today, it's so painful. I go to the gym all the time but I was working with a trainer on my legs, doing drills and power lifting moves and it's just shocked my body.

I was hoping, since it's only a mile I could be pulled along on a skateboard or carried on people's shoulders, that would be fun to watch but I don't think it's allowed. Or since the run goes through Coronation St I could just stay in the Rovers Return with a pint, though I don't think the beer's real.

But I am really gutted I won't be able to do this for Sport Relief. Perhaps I could train myself up for the Marathon instead, I'd love to do that. I'd like to do it like Gordon Ramsay does it - full on. You can't do these things by half. God knows what my time would be, though.

Fingers crossed I feel better soon and I'm sure I'll have lots more to tell you when my legs are working!

Speak soon

Lots of love

Shayne  X
